한국의 전통적 건강과 간호개념을 도출하기 위한 두 단계의 자료분석과정을 소개한 것이다. 첫번째 단계에서는 건강과 간호개념의 사상적 기초가 되는 세계관을 태극도설로 부터 도출하기 위하여 전통적인 문헌고찰 방법을 사용하였다.
두번째 단계는 건강과 간호개념을 도출하기 위하여 변형된 내용분석방법에 의해 고전 문헌을 분석하였다. 그리고 첫단계에서 도출된 세개의 기본원리와 이에 관련된 열두개의 하위개념들이 두번째 단계에서 도출된 다양한 건강과 간호개념의 특성으로 나타난 범주들과의 관계를 알아보았다.
특히 이와 같은 자료분석에성 연구의 타당성과 신뢰성을 보장하기 위하여서는 수준높은 연구자의 연구태도와 적절한 가치판단이 무엇보다도 중요함을 확인할 수 있었다.
The study attempted to the conceptualization of Korean traditional conceptions of health and nursing through the document analysis of classic works. In the study the data were analyzed in two steps. The first one involved in the derivation of cosmological principles from T´al-chi-Tu Shuo and its related works. The second step was the concept constructions of health and nursing from classic works.
The method employed for the analysis of data was the content analysis modified by grounded theory method.
In the analyzing contextual meanings of the classic works for both cosmological principles and the concepts of health and nursing required somewhat unique and specific techniques for categorization of the meanings into theoretical concepts. One of the most difficult work in data analysis involved in the categorization con-textual meanings. Some health data implied so board and abstract that they could be analyzed into many different categories.
Another issue in data analysis was important of investigator´s sincerity and professional training on qualitative data analysis.
